As a leading travel agency in Korea, Hanatour strives to respect human rights and protect dignity in all business activities.

We declare our commitment to human rights management that guarantees human dignity and take actions to prevent all human rights violations.

At Hanatour, we do not tolerate discrimination or violence of any kind on the grounds of gender identity, sexual orientation, place of origin, educational background, nationality, race, disability, medical history, marriage, pregnancy, age, religion, and other factors.

We are committed to fostering a culture of equality in the workplace by eliminating abuse of power and harassment and respecting the dignity of all stakeholders with whom we have interactions.

Human Rights Policy

  • Anti-Discrimination

    Hanatour strictly prohibits unlawful discrimination in all aspects of our employment and embraces diversity and inclusion.

  • Prohibition of Sexual Harassment and Workplace Bullying

    We have zero-tolerance policies against sexual harassment and workplace bullying. We encourage victims to come forward, take measures to ensure that harassers and bullies cannot act with impunity, and implement preventive and remedial actions quickly and efficiently.

  • Wages and Welfare

    We comply with statutory standards for wages and benefits, and we operate a fair and reasonable compensation system.

  • Working Time

    We strictly enforce compliance with regulations on working time, breaks, leaves and holidays pursuant to the relevant laws.

  • Ban on Forced Labor

    Hanatour will not tolerate the use of bonded/forced labor in any of its business and operations. No employee shall be made to work against their will and all employees shall have the right to sign a fair and transparent employment contract.

  • Ban on Child Labor

    We have a zero-tolerance policy against child labor and prohibit employment below the legal minimum age. Hanatour complies with applicable laws and regulations when exceptionally employing underage workers.

Customer Safety

Safety has become a top priority for travelers since the COVID-19 pandemic.

SAFETY&JOY is a program introduced to ensure our customers’ safety: this program is designed to monitor the entire travel process from before departure to after arrival. We ask our local suppliers to observe safety issues at destinations in advance and confirm safety diagnoses, and we also work with government agencies to campaign for safe overseas travel for our customers.
